We even kept on Rhiannon’s trainee hairdresser Natasha, who went on to qualify as a Hairdresser, but eventually moved on to another salon in Llanelli. We also took on another trainee, who we put through her training, and later left to start her own business.
After four years of trading at 107 St.Teilo Street, we needed a bigger salon as we had taken on another stylist, also called Emma. We decided to sell our house in Tynybonau Rd, and !07 St. Teilo Street and we moved to our current location 67 St.Teilo Street. This premises became available when Robert and Lynne Williams the Jewellers decided to retire. Robert and Lynne were also very helpful and supportive during our big move.
In our new location, with our newly renovated Salon, we have gone from strength to strength. Our clientele has grown healthily over the last two years and our turnover has trebled since our first year of trading.
We currently have three Stylists including Emma, and two trainees. You can see their profiles on the staff profiles page.
We bought the business from Rhiannon who had decided to retire. Rhiannon and her husband Huw were very helpful in us setting up the business. We had a few of Rhiannon’s customers who continued to come to us, and we soon started to build up a healthy client base.
